I'm always in a Star Wars mood, but this week I brought back my Star Wars podcast @ihavespokenpod and I'm hyped! Then seeing @mrstevie18 post about his Rogue One assault tank got me missing my Tam Posla custom figure I made a few years ago. Love this guy! I sculpted the body details and head from scratch with @avesclay apoxie, and a full paint up by hand. Loved working on this one.Before I left on Christmas break I didn't get a chance to post my last custom of 2021. This 3.75" Maniac of New York figure was the companion piece to the 6" I made that went to the @aftershockcomics series artist @andreamutti9.I've been out of the loop but just learned of the passing of Ryan Bodenheim. We weren't friends, but I was a big fan, and whenever he was at a con he was at the top of my list to visit because every time we chatted he'd treat me like a friend. I wouldn't doubt if he was like that with all his fans. My whole family loved his work and appreciated his positivity and talent.Merry New Year, folks! My favorite finished projects of 2021 here. Last month I was asked to guest teach a 3rd grade class that was doing a project called Toys That Matter. It was all about toy design, and they had some awesome questions. I promise I didn't sleep through the entire class, but I did teach the whole thing with my eyes closed.
