This Red Hood and the Nightwing below are 2 pieces for the same client that wanted a helmet head instead of the dome that came with the DCUC figure. For such a great and popular character, I have no idea why this is the only figure Mattel has produced. I used a DCUC Atom head, shaped it to look like the New 52 Red Hood helmet and gave it a complete repaint. I used a different method of paint than I have ever before. I gave him a more metallic look by painting the head silver first and then clear red over top. Love how it turned out! Enjoy!
