I just posted episode 58 of my Patreon podcast, You Like Toys, and I got the chance to talk about these custom Pacific Rim figures I made a while ago. So I thought I'd share them here for #throwbackthursday . Love these things. They were from NECA's first release, so they were pretty barebones. I added Gypsy's blades, hand plasma blaster, and the elbow rocket, and installed brand new elbow joints for more articulation, along with a bunch of gears and tubes in her legs, then a complete repaint with weathering and paneling and other details. Gave Striker the same treatment but also made him a magnetic chest rocket array from scratch.I just posted a mini tutorial on Patreon and went over all the supplies and tools I use for sculpting.
