Blade the Vampire Hunter. This is the Marvel character that started so much of what we now know as the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In 1998 Blade’s first solo movie with Wesley Snipes showed Marvel Comics fans that Marvel Comics movies could be serious, dark, and bad ass! This figure pays homage to all versions of Blade from his first appearance by Marv Wolfman and Gene Colan, to Wesley Snipes movie series, the short lived Sticky Fingaz TV show, his recent comic appearances in Avengers and Mighty Avengers, and my take on his future MCU appearance that wraps him all up in a cohesive figure. He features an arsenal of weapons that represent all eras of the character and 5 interchangeable heads to match! He also comes with 2 sets of interchangeable arms that work with his jacket and non-jacket looks! He was made from parts of current Marvel Legends figures, but I also incorporated parts from the original Wesley Snipes ToyBiz figure including his head and buckles. He’s finished with different shades of black matte and gloss paints, with highlights of vibrant red! Enjoy!
