When DC relaunched it’s publishing line they they gave us a younger version of Clark Kent in Action Comics, new to his job as superhero, and he wore jeans. Makes sense, you just started flying, it takes time to make something that cuts down on wind resistance.

I actually love the design. Pretty raw and simple, but at the same time carries so much complexity.

So I tried to capture that with a Superman body with moded cape, moded Batman Beyond head, Starman pants with sculpted cuffs, and wrapped him up with some custom paints.
